What is the goal of flexibility and how to give it concrete form?
Recently, the concept of flexibility has become prominent, including related concepts such as learning pathways, custom courses, freedom of choice, acceleration, deceleration and differentiation.
Concrete translation of these concepts into daily practice and organization of education is a challenging task.
Flexibility is possible in many aspects of education. What aspects you choose are dependent on what you want to achieve through flexibility. If we take the learner (the student), what do you want to offer him/her and why?
To help you decide, we work with a flex indicator. This is an instrument that you can use to map your goals, after which we provide you with advice about the aspects that require primary flexibility in order to achieve these goals. Below is an example.
